It's always so much fun to use others' patterns, and it's so great of Leisha to share such a great pattern with all of us. The free pattern is one sized which you can enlarge to reduce in size to fit your little one, and she also has for-purchase patterns available for babies and toddlers which are multi-sized. You can find both the free and for-purchase patterns here.
I wanted to mix up the fabrics a bit, and used some metallic pink polka dot fabric along with some leftover herringbone fabric I've been saving ever since I made this anthro inspired dress a couple of years ago.
I love that the shoes stay put on Lola's feet quite well, but are still easy to get on and off in a hurry.
Lola, however, was not super thrilled at the idea of taking photos in them so I took one quickie and thought I'd let her off the hook this time.
My favorite part about the pattern is the little TOMS inspired details. The pleats on the toes...
And the back tag. If I make another pair, I think I'll embroider Lola's name onto the tag, but I was feeling lazy at the moment and didn't take the time with this pair.
Wouldn't a pair of these make such a cute baby gift? I'm already look for an excuse to make another pair :).

I have the pattern, but haven't made them yet. You've inspired me!

I made these too, they look so adorable! I'm working out a sole solution for my almost 3yr old, I just feel like she needs a pair too. Because of the insanely cute factor. You can check out the baby size I made here for a friend's baby shower: http://www.twotendesigns.com/2013/02/say-hello-to-cutest-shoes-ever.html, they were such a hit! So glad to see someone else make these cuties :D
