If you read my blog I'm sure you noticed that I tend to go on tangents with most of what I sew. Last summer I went on an apron tangent, and haven't made one since, after that was a bib tangent, which I also haven't made since, and now I think that ric rac has won my heart for the time being. At least ric rac can be used for many different projects, so maybe I will be able to keep a bit of variety in my projects.I made this ric rac trimmed receiving blanket and some matching burp cloths out of Valori Wells Urban Flannel for my little one that is coming in June. I also will be making a tutorial for it soon, even though it's probably simple enough that most people can figure it out on their own. I guess it would be best for beginner sewers, and is a nice-easy-quick project, just the way I like 'em!

Can't wait for this tutorial!!! That is SUCH a cute blanket! Wish we lived closer together so I could have you answer all my questions I get when I'm sewing. Usually they begin with "wait a second... something doesn't look right...."
