Applique tutorial.
You've gotta check out this tutorial on Sew, Mama, Sew! She does a wonderful tutorial on machine appliqueing. It is very thorough, and gives all the information a person needs to know. I'm so glad I came across it tonight because I've been trying to think of a special gift to make for a friend that's having a baby soon (she'll be induced on Saturday if she doesn't have it on her own by then... bring on the jumping jacks!). So now I've decided I'm gonna do a baby quilt that's personalized for baby Brodie. I can't wait, I love it when I finally make a decision on something. Unfortunately now is when the real work starts...

Oh I am so excited that you have a blog!! I love having a million blogging friends and since you are such an avid sewing person maybe I'll learn something from your ramblings!! I read back a few of your post and I just thought I'd let you know, Moda is my most favorite fabric, and the best place to buy it is at fatquartershop.com. I actually have a friend who designs fabric for Moda which could be part of the reason I'm so obsessed. Anyway I can't believe how big Wyatt is! I wasn't even sure this was your blog till I saw his name, but I totally didn't recognize him! Soo cute! ANyway I hope there will be a few updates about him as well! I'd love to know how you made that cart cover I really want one but they're so dang expensive and usually not very cute! anyway please excuse the novel I just wrote! So fun. I also LOVED that shopping cart cover. I've never seen one yet! Great idea though! BTW, Wyatt sure has A LOT of blonde hair! He's so CUTE! Is he crawling all over these days? Where do you find the time to be so creative!!!!!
He sure is crawling all over, he actually is taking some steps now too! Your little guy must be getting big now too, he's gotta be around 7 months? His name is Hank, right? Hey maybe they can play together at Christmas while we stay at Joel's parents. That would be fun, and easy to go home if they're being naughty!
So, I saw you posted on my blog, and I was like, who in the heck is that. But, I finally figured it out! Your stuff is so cute! Are you making money with it? Did I tell you I started a crib bumper business? It's still sorta in the works....I'm glad you have a blog! Do you have a personal one so I can see what's going on in your non-sewing life?
